Events in February!

We have several events coming up this month, so check them out! Not only can you donate, adopt, and make a reservation through our website, but you can also get updates and event notices!

First we have Introverts’ Night Out coming up on February 13th! You can reserve your spot through the link below.

At the end of the month we have our book club! We will be reading Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid. Heated Rivalry is the second book in the series but can be read as a stand alone. The book was adapted into a television series in 2025 and has risen on the hot list of books to read in 2026. You can reserve your spot through the link below!

What questions might you have about cats and kittens?

Do you have any questions about cats, kittens, cat or kitten care, rescue, fostering, adoptions, anything feline related?

Let us know what question you have and we will write a blog post to answer these questions!

Here is a list of things we always need:
Dry cat food (Purina Kitten One or Purina indoor cat)
Barn Pellets (Used as litter)
Breeze Pellets and pads (For the Breeze system)
Wet food for kittens and cats (Fancy Feast, Weruva, Applaws)
Bottle Baby supplies (KMR Formula, Bottles, Miracle Nipples, Royal canin Mother/babycat)
Pee pads
Cat toys (various)
Catnip spray (various)
Wand Toys (Various)
Fresh Step Crystal Litter (to watch for bad pee)
Slide litter (for use in boxes when we have cats/kittens that do not like barn pellets)

Pixi water Fountain Filters

Do you want to help cats but don’t know how? Check out this!

For a $125 donation your organization can sponsor the adoption fee for one of our cats, increase their chances of getting adopted, and help a family give a loving home to a new family member!

Cattyshack Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue. Our adoption fee covers all needed vaccines, microchipping and spay/neuter surgery for each cat. Our goal is to not only find homes for as many cats as possible, but to ensure their quality of life increases, and the overpopulation of animals in our community decreases.

You can also browse our adoptable cats by Clicking Here. Kitties who already have sponsors will have an asterisk beside their name. If you would prefer we choose a kitty for you, we’re happy to do so.

We would love to share your generous donation on our social media platforms. Feel free to send us any logo files or images you’d like us to include, a link to your website, and any social media handles you would like us to use for tagging purposes. Again, thank you so much! Our kitties thank you too!

June Events!

Cattyshack has several events in June that we have to tell you about!

First we have Introverts Night Out! Your time has come to sit with kittens, play with kittens, read a book while being crawled on by kittens (and cats), and just enjoy not having to be social. Reservations can be made at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/april-11-introverts-night-out

Next we have Kitten Yoga! join us for restorative yoga twice this month. The yoga is for you, but the kittens and cats can help relax and enjoy the experience. We also have our once yearly event KITTYPALOOZA coming to you. This event is one of our biggest fundraising events of the year! We will have art, baked goods, and merch for sale. Other rescues will be there with their adoptable kitties. We will have a meet and greet with a wonderful children’s book author. We will have 20 minute kitty snuggles in the lounge. Our award winning Cherry will be there for a meet and greet and she will be signing pictures. Plus, so much more!

Our online art auction will begin on June 14th. You can see the art on the first floor of Lowe Mill – it is called The Feline Gaze: Art for and by cats. Our closing ceremony for this will be on July 12th. You can check out our facebook page for the link to the auction.
