Would you like to have a spot at our adoption event at Lowe Mill on Saturday, May 11, 2024?
Our Mission: To educate the community about the importance of spay and neuter, promote surgery assistance programs, and encourage the community to adopt don’t shop!
- The event is from 11-2 and is advertised on radio, news, local online event calendars, social media, and in print.
- Please complete the online Rescue Sign Up by April 1, 2024 so we know to expect you and can advertise accordingly.
- ALL felines MUST be vaccinated and spayed/neutered and ready for adoption!
- If your rescue does a foster-to-adopt program for younger kittens, you are welcome to bring littles ones at your own discretion.
- ALL felines MUST be healthy. No URI or diarrhea.
- If you create an event on social media, please tag @Cattyshackhsv (and list us as a co-host when available).
- You are welcome to bring your branded merch to sell.
Other Stuff to Know:
- The First Floor Connector is a 4,320 sq. ft climate controlled room.
- There are power outlets, running water, a restroom, and trash bins.
- 6′ and 8′ folding tables and folding chairs are available for rent at Lowe Mill, just let us know how many you need and we will put in the request.
- Set up will be from 10-10:45am on Saturday.
- Rescues will be able to access the double doors at the loading dock area, around back, near the water tower, for easy access to the First Floor Connector. There is a ramp.
This event is rain or shine. However, if Lowe Mill closes due to dangerous weather, this event will rescheduled.
