Want to help save kittens? Fostering is one of the most important things you can do for a rescue.

Cattyshack provides almost everything you need, including:
🐱 Food
💊 Dewormer, flea meds & eye ointment
🧸 Toys
🧰 Nail trimmers & flea comb
🚗 Carrier(s) if needed
🏥 All vet appointments (scheduled and paid for)

You just provide a safe space, litter boxes, litter, and lots of love until they find their forever homes. 💛

We will guide you every step of the way, and our team is always available by phone, text, email, or Messenger if you need help.

Foster Requirements

✔ Must be 18 years or older
✔ Own your home, or if renting your name must be on the lease
✔ Have reliable transportation
✔ Be able to communicate through text and/or Messenger
✔ Be on time for vet appointments, meet-and-greets, and volunteer shifts
✔ Be able to regularly take photos of foster cats
(Training is available for using our shelter software)
✔ Understand the importance of sanitizing and keeping areas clean to prevent illness

⚠️ Cleanliness is extremely important. Cross-contamination can take down an entire litter of immunocompromised kittens.

If a kitten ever seems sick, we take care of all vet visits and costs — just let us know right away!
